Molecular biology, bioinformatics and dietetics under one roof
MD NutriAcademy was founded in Istanbul in 2020. Under the principle Omics Meets AI for Smarter Health, we bring microbiome science, bioinformatics and clinical nutrition together in a single product. A journey that began with TÜBİTAK BİGG support continues today with the TWINbiome platform, more than 500 analyses and two TÜBİTAK 1507 projects.

Evidence first
Unverified results are never marked 'done'; projections are never counted as revenue. The same discipline applies to our reports.
Explainability
The organisms and pathways behind every score are visible; we do not give black-box recommendations.
Clinical boundaries
Microbiome analysis does not diagnose. We aim to strengthen the healthcare professional's hand, not replace it.
Data responsibility
KVKK compliance, anonymous sample coding and hosting in Turkey; users can have their data deleted whenever they wish.
Meet the team
Dr. İlknur Melis Durası
Molecular biologist and bioengineer, dietitian and bioinformatics specialist. Works on both the bioinformatics/biostatistics and the nutrition-dietetics sides of research projects.
Zeynep Özkeserli, MSc
Responsible for the TWINbiome bioinformatics pipeline, model development and platform architecture.

We work with advisors from gastroenterology, sports science and data science, and with academic institutions including the Max Delbrück Center (Berlin).
