Species-level resolution, explainable models
Our analyses rely on shotgun metagenomic sequencing rather than 16S: all DNA in the sample is read, microorganisms are identified at species and strain level, and functional genes and metabolic pathways are evaluated together.
Method
The scientific flow from sample to report

Sample stabilisation
A buffer that preserves DNA at room temperature; stable for up to 14 days without a cold chain.

DNA isolation and sequencing
Isolation with standard kits, shotgun sequencing on the Illumina platform; target depth ≥ 5 million read pairs per sample.

Bioinformatics
Quality filtering, host-DNA removal, taxonomic profiling (species/strain) and functional annotation (KEGG, MetaCyc pathways).

Scoring and interpretation
Scores normalised against a reference population; gradient boosting models with SHAP explainability; report delivered with dietitian review.

What we do not claim
Microbiome analysis alone does not diagnose disease and is not used on its own for treatment decisions. Scores and interpretive panels are not direct measurements of hormones, histamine, inflammation, sleep quality or gut permeability. We pursue our clinical and economic claims as targets for prospective validation and share results within that frame.
